This year’s gathering takes place in the Green Hills neighborhood of Nashville, TN at our gracious host: Calvary UMC.
In the last few days, we’ve all had numerous communications from our communities of faith, schools, and other organizations about the novel coronavirus COVID-19. If you’ve watched the news, you know that there has been an unprecedented response from leadership across the globe. Various levels of federal, state, and local governments have declared a state of emergency as taken steps to slow the spread of the global pandemic in both Estonia and the United States.
Friends of Estonia leadership has decided to postpone our 2020 Gathering from early May until a time in the fall to-be-determined. The primary drivers of this decision were the health and safety of everyone, the recommended from the US Centers for Disease Control to not hold gatherings over 50 people, and travel restrictions making it very difficult for people to arrive in Nashville and make it home. We are working with our host church and executive team to select dates that work for all parties. Please stay tuned for more details to come.
