April 2024 Prayer requests

Below, find the prayer concerns and requests from leaders of the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary and the congregations in Estonia.

Dear friends,

I hope you had a wonderful Easter celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!

We are excited that spring has finally arrived in Estonia, and we are looking forward to many wonderful events coming up in the spring and summer.

Please pray for the Annual Conference of the Estonian Methodist Church, which will take place from May 3 to 5 on the island of Saaremaa. Pray for guidance and wisdom as we gather to fellowship with one another and make decisions for the church.

Please pray for the preparations for different summer camps and the summer conference in August.

Please pray for the Friends of Estonia gathering in Kingsport, Tennessee, next week for safe travels and a good time to reconnect with friends.’

We are thankful for our new congregation members, 11 young people, and 1 elderly lady. Pray for their spiritual growth and that they will find their place and spiritual gifts to use in the congregation.

Pray for our pastors.

We also need a person who will administer things in the congregation. Pray that the right person will come.

Christ is Risen!

Warm greetings from Estonia

I am so grateful to God for all of your prayers. God has specially answered prayers. We witnessed God’s amazing presence, abundant blessings, and wonderful fruits in March. In the Võru congregation, eight persons completed the catechesis course, and ten people were baptized. Three young guys, my colleague, and a young family joined the Võru congregation. In general, we saw many people in the church on Good Friday and Easter.

We celebrated the Räpina congregation’s anniversary. Let’s keep praying that God would send coworkers and a pastor there.

Young people are preaching the gospel in the streets with fire. It has become a new movement where I see the need for mentors to disciple young people. Let’s pray for them to be protected, blessed, and guided by loving adults. Training for youth leaders will begin at the end of April. Let’s pray this preparation into God’s hands. We are rapidly preparing for summer camps. We ask for God’s guidance, wisdom, and open doors.

Greetings from Children Center Lighthouse,

We thank God for the new 5 kids who came to the children’s center in the last month. Please pray that they will adjust well and that we will be able to provide them with the help they need.

We pray for a 16-year-old girl from a children’s center who, 2 weeks ago, was adopted by a family. The girl has many emotional problems and self-searching. We pray that she will make the right decisions in life.
