Below, find the prayer concerns and requests from leaders of the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary and the congregations in Estonia.
Dear friends,
Thank you so much for your prayers for the Estonian Methodist Church!
Spring has finally arrived in Estonia, and we are looking forward to a wonderful time to celebrate Holy Week and the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! Please pray for all the congregations and many worship services that will take place so that the message of God’s love will reach those who are far from Him right now. Also, on Good Friday, Estonian national television will broadcast the service from our Tallinn congregation. Please pray that it will go well.
We had a wonderful clergy gathering in Haapsalu in March. We had a good time of fellowship and worship together and did a lot of work on the church’s new discipline, as we remain an independent church. Please continue to pray for our clergy as they serve faithfully in different parts of Estonia.
Please pray that the upcoming Annual Conference of the Estonian Methodist Church in May will be a time of encouragement, unity, and strengthening of our mission to reach many people for Christ in our country.
Thank you for your prayers, and God bless you!
In Christ,
Robert Tserenkov
Here are the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary’s thanksgivings and prayer requests for March 2025:
Gratitude to God
- Praise for the two-day development seminar in Rakvere and Tallinn, where our team engaged with the accreditation feedback, analyzed the seminary’s current state in greater depth, and set development goals for the coming years (picture below).
- Praise for the students who have paid their tuition and for the donors who generously supported the seminary in March and April.
Prayer Requests
- Pray for the rector and the rector’s assistant as they travel to Mt. Bethel Methodist Church (Atlanta, Georgia), Lenoir City Central UMC (Tennessee), and Asbury Theological Seminary (Kentucky) from April 2–12.
- Pray for the faculty, staff, and student body—especially for those preparing to defend their diploma papers and graduate in June.
- Pray for the seminary’s financial situation and cash flow, as we continue to navigate the challenges resulting from our disaffiliation from the UMC.

Greetings from Children’s Center Lighthouse
We ask you to pray for a 13-year-old boy who has found “bad” friends, does not want to go to school, and whose mother is not a role model for the children at home in terms of her lifestyle.
We pray for a 13-year-old girl searching for God and wanting to be baptized but has many fears and unanswered questions. Five years ago, her mother died, and since then, the topic of death has been very relevant to her.
Also in need of prayer is an 8-year-old girl and her 12-year-old brother, whose father died last year and whose mother has found a new partner who is addicted to drugs and alcohol. The mother does not care about the children and is not interested in the children’s wishes or needs.
Please also pray for other children’s center parents, as they either do not want to or are unable to take responsibility for their children.
We pray for the children’s health, as many are often sick. Because they are often absent from school due to illness, getting all their schoolwork done isn’t easy. Unfortunately, they do not do any schoolwork at home during their illness.
Thank you for your prayers!
Veronika
Dear Friends,
I send you warm greetings and prayers of blessings from Estonia, from our small congregation of Reeküla.
March and the Great Lent season has been the time of renovations in our Church building and our souls. Our Church floor became unstable and broke below our piano, so we hired someone to open our floor and cut out all the rotten floorboards and window jambs. So all our lives moved into our dining hall. Our floor is ok for today, and we have moved back to Church Hall. We are getting ready for Easter. We are fasting and praying together with our Congregation on every Wednesday till Easter for the World, for World peace, for USA, for Europe, for Ukraine, for Russia, for Israel, for Estonia etc, for the island of Saaremaa and our village and congregation and for our own souls that need transformation and renovation.
Please pray for us when we get ready for Easter, for our last music group´s rehearsal with village people and the Easter evangelical service that God could touch people’s hearts and lives and they would find their way to God and to our congregation.
We will keep praying the same for all of you!
With blessings and love
Lemme
