Robert Tšerenkov
District Superintendent, EMK
Dear friends!
On behalf of your brothers and sisters in the Estonian Methodist Church, I would like to wish all of you a blessed Advent season and A Merry Christmas! As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, may our hearts be full of joy! Jesus was called Emmanuel, which means God is with us. And though we live in a world where there is so much pain, war, division, and struggle, may we never forget that God is with us, and may we bring the love and hope of Christ to the struggling world around us.
Please pray for many special Christmas events happening both in churches and out in the community so that people would hear about the real meaning of Christmas and open their hearts to the Gospel.
Please pray for our pastors, for whom this is a specially busy season.
Thank you for your prayers for the Methodist Church in Estonia! In Christ,
Robert Tserenkov

The month of November has been very intense, full of different emotions, and busy.
Our older son Benjamin turned 20. We were going to Tartu to celebrate Benjamin’s birthday at basketball competitions. At the same moment, my lovely goddaughter called, whose 10-day-old baby was in intensive care due to heart failure. I rushed to the hospital to see him. God performed a powerful miracle and the baby was helped at the last, critical moment. Let’s keep praying for baby Ott.
On the same day, I found out that Tanel’s cousin was suddenly dying. He is only 41 years old. This young man died on Tanel’s birthday. To this day, I am a close supporter of both the widow and her children. We go to grief counseling together.
Tanel and I started Bible study and fellowship evenings with young adults. We are very grateful to God for these evenings. Let’s keep praying for these 9 young adults.
In November, we always have a “Thank-you event” for the youth committee, to which all volunteers and workers of the local church are invited. 42 workers were invited. There is so much gratitude in my heart that God is raising a new generation that is devoted to God.
There is a lot of work both in counseling people and with many Christmas projects.
Please pray for us. We are also organizing a New Year’s camp with the youth committee. Let us pray for the various teams that are currently working and preparing for camp.
I am very emotionally exhausted, but I thank God that I have teams that support me and a lovely family that cares.
Thank you for your prayers! I need them!

Children’s Lighthouse Director
Greetings from Children Center Lighthouse,
We are grateful to God that at the end of November, we were able to participate in the Christmas Bazaar of the International Women’s Club and also in the Tallinn Methodist Church cafe, the proceeds of which went to the children’s center. Since our financial situation is not the best, this was a great opportunity for us to receive support. We thank God for everyone who helped us in this.
We are happy and thankful to God that Teri and Heather from Asbury Church were volunteering to help at the Children’s Center in December. There is a lot to do before Christmas and they were a great help to us.
We pray that the upcoming holidays will not be just a busy time, but that God’s peace will be in everyone’s hearts and that children will be able to better understand the meaning of Christmas.
In the attachment pictures: the kids are doing crafts and our table in the Christmas Bazaar.

Pastor, Reeküla Church
Last months have been blessed months in Reeküla´s Church.
We celebrated Harvest Sunday, started with youth meetings after many-many years and have had 2 meetings so far and first 5 youth from local village taking part of those meetings. We also invited Kaali kindergarten with their teachers to come and visit us and they did – it was much fun having them over in Church! I took part of one birthday party and got to know local people even more. We also had a united Sunday service with the neighbouring village Baptist Church – in Leisi. We have good ecumenical relations. These are all things to be grateful for!
Please pray that God would continue to bless our congregation and send us out to local villages to minister to people. Please pray that more children would come to our Sunday School and to our youth events, that we could reach out even more to our community and that we would continue to be the salt and the light in our area.
Thank you so much for partnering with us! I pray God would bless you abundantly and that you would have blessed peaceful and joyful Advent Season!
With much love
Lemme from Reeküla
