Dear Friends of Estonia!
First of all, I want to say thank you that many of you participated in the Friends of Estonia virtual gathering! It was a joy to see many of you and we were blessed to share what the Lord is doing in Estonia and blessed by your prayers!
Thank you!
We have entered the season of summer activities and now there will be camps happening one after another. Right now, there is a youth camp going on at Camp Gideon. Please pray that the Lord would use the camps to touch the hearts of youth and children and that they would come to know the Lord and experience God in a special way. Also please pray for the leaders of camps.
Please also pray for our pastors, that this summertime would be refreshing for them and their families, as this has been a challenging year for everyone. Pray that the Lord would fill them with fresh strength and anointing.
We would like to let you know that we pray for our brothers and sisters in America, as the number of coronavirus cases has increased, and there are challenges going back to regular church activities. May God bless you and keep you safe!
In June, the seminary had students successfully defend their diploma papers and they will graduate in August. We are thankful to God for guiding us through perhaps the most difficult school year in our history due to the challenges caused by the virus. We also ask for prayer that the coronavirus will remain in check so that a graduation ceremony may be held in August in person.
The seminary was also able to have some limited in-person meetings for the first time since March. We are thankful to God that some of the faculty and staff we were able to gather together before the end of the school year.
Please be in prayer for the seminary this summer as we discern how best to deliver education to our students in the fall. Some students live abroad and we will very possibly have to teach both in-class and via Teams or broadcast live.

I am grateful for many good partnerships in Europe. I am grateful that a significant and major change in missionary assignment in Europe went, as a process, very well and we were able to identify and assign the very best missionary candidate for an international UMC in Vienna, Austria.
I am personally thankful for a very good vacation week that enabled me to rest and relax with Meeli.
The situation that is especially in my prayers, at this time, is the decision of the Ukraine UMC to separate themselves from the Eurasian episcopal area. This has several reasons, but both sides see the situation very differently and it is a very painful process. We pray that a reasonable solution will be found and that brothers and sisters in Russia and in Ukraine will remain brothers and sisters also after this decision.
Thank you for our prayer fellowship.

Praises:
The children’s food project started in June and two excellent people are working in the kitchen as well children-missionary is doing a ministry and telling Bible stories.
One Valga business supported three southern Estonian food banks with money to do 300 extra food-packages for four months. The food is bought from Estonian food-businesses, so it supporters the area in different ways.

Thank you for supporting us with prayer.
The youth camp began on June 29 and lasts until July 4, pray for the weather at this time, because a lot depends on the weather. The teenage camp will be from July 6 to July 11. The children’s camp will be from July 13 to July 18.
Pray that God will protect the children from injury or accidents.
We expect to see the actions of the Holy Spirit during all three camps. Bless us in prayer so that we can organize high-quality camps in which the presence of the Holy Spirit will transform the lives of young people.
From July 30 to August 2, we plan to conduct a trek with a trip to the Aegna island. Bless us for organizing this campaign, pray for the weather for this period, and also pray for strengthening the spiritual condition of young people through fellowship with the Holy Spirit and with each other.

Pray that God would give us rest to recover from a difficult spring so that we would be ready for the new school year in August!
Pray that the coronavirus would not return to Estonia!
Pray that God would be calling men and women to prepare for ministry in the Seminary! August is when applications arrive, but hearts need to be opening to God’s call now.
Pray for the international Seminary students who have lost their jobs due to the coronavirus crisis and are now in difficult situations. Pray that God will provide.
