Taavi and Naatan Hollman – From the Beginning
July 22, 2025
Below, find the prayer concerns and requests from leaders of the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary and the congregations in Estonia.
Dear friends, Thank you so much for your faithful prayers for the Estonian Methodist Church!
We are so thankful to God for the nine graduates of the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary! It was a wonderful celebration on June 17th, and we were so blessed to have many of our Board of Trustees members in Tallinn as well. I want to thank all of you who pray and support the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary in fulfilling its unique role in this part of the world.
Please pray for all ongoing and upcoming summer camps for youth and children. May it be a blessed time for both the leaders and all of the kids.
Please pray for the preparation of the summer conference, as we hope to gather representatives from different congregations across Estonia in August at Camp Gideon.
Thank you for your prayers! May God bless you!

We give thanks for:

- The presentation of the new book Timeless Bible;
- The successful defense of diploma papers on June 11–12.
- The wonderful alumni gathering on Saturday, June 14.
- All who have faithfully supported the Seminary through prayer and financial gifts;
- The fruitful Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, June 16, and the safe travel of those who participated in person.
- Our nine new graduates — five Estonian-speaking, two English-speaking, and two Russian-speaking — celebrated their commencement on Tuesday, June 17.
Please Pray
- For the Seminary’s staff and faculty to experience rest and renewal during their summer vacations in July.
- For prospective students who have applied or are considering applying in the coming weeks;
- For all preparations related to the new academic year, which begins in August.

Pray for teenagers’ camps. Pray for safety, for relations, and most of all that God will touch everyone.
Pray for new congregation members, that their spiritual growth will continue. And the same applies to all others as well.
Pray for our pastors and their families.
Blessings!

Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers!
We are thankful to God for a wonderful summer camp. Although the weather was cold and rainy, it didn’t stop the children from experiencing love and care, and from having the Word of God sown into their hearts. Thanks to the indoor facilities at the Gideon camp, we were able to carry out most of the planned activities. Although we couldn’t swim in the sea, the children were still able to enjoy water activities at the Rakvere swimming pool on the last day.
We are deeply grateful to the wonderful volunteers from Calvary United Methodist Church (Nashville, Tennessee) — Genna, Andy, Henry, Philipp, Alex, Jacob, and Seth — for their dedicated service! We are thankful that Calvary Church has supported the running of summer camps for over 20 years! We pray that God would also provide for all of their needs.
Please keep the church’s summer camps in prayer — both the team and all the youth, children, and teenagers who are participating. We pray that God would give them strength, health, and protection, and that He would work in the hearts of everyone attending the camps. Some children from the children’s center are also participating in the church’s camps. We pray that through this, God would speak to them and that they would begin to form connections with the church.
We ask for your prayers regarding the changes that have been made to Estonia’s social system. Many workers have lost their jobs. We are uncertain whether the city of Tallinn, due to all the financial cutbacks, will be willing to support the work of our children’s center next year. Until now, the city has covered almost half of the center’s budget.
Gratefully,
on behalf of the Children’s Center
Veronika Fjodorova

Warmest greetings to you all, dear friends!
We had the joy of hosting Reverend Peter van Eyes from Calvary UMC, Tennessee, on June 15th. He preached at our Worship Service, got to know some of our people a little, and had a short trip in Saaremaa with me and Marjana. And a week later, my husband and I had the privilege of spending some time with a team from Calvary UMC Church – hiking with them, etc. We treasure our friendship with Calvary Congregation, we are grateful to God for each other, and we pray our relationship would grow stronger and deeper with each other. Please pray for that also.
We are making plans for our congregation’s anniversary on July 27th. Please pray that God will bless those who come to visit us and that He will touch their lives and hearts.
Please continue to pray for the health of our members, both physically and emotionally.
Please also pray that this Summer season will bring rest to our Church members and their families.
If there’s anything we could pray for as a congregation on your behalf, please let me know.
With love and blessings
Lemme
