Dear Friends of Estonia!
We are grateful to God that the situation with the COVID-19 virus is getting better in Estonia. The number of infections is going down and churches can operate at 50% seating capacity now. We hope for fewer restrictions in the near future. Please pray, that as restrictions are lessened, churches could be more active in ministry and all people would find their way back to the church fellowship. Please pray for all the summer events, camps, and the summer conference. Pray for wisdom as we are making preparations and that it would be safe to have all the summer events.
Right now is the time for charge conferences and it is a great joy to be able to visit different congregations. Please pray that those conferences would be an inspiration for the congregations and also that God’s blessing and protection would be on me as I travel and minister.
Thank you for your faithful prayers!

I am very grateful that God blessed the opening event of the Agape church 100-anniversary event on May 22. The actual celebration will be at the end of August, but the church decided to start celebrating with different events already 100 days before the anniversary. We had a seminar “Church in community” with interesting speakers and topics, and representatives being present from our region of Pärnu.
Also, we have a great reason to thank the Lord for a wonderful new piece of art at the big wall outside of Agape church (on the side of the park). The mural was created by a young street artist in Pärnu. This is a nice surprise to children who come to play at the church’ playground, and everyone walking by.
Personally, I thank the Lord for a long and tedious journey of re-application of my Green Card and returning resident visa to the United States has been approved.
Please pray especially for the Institute for Multicultural Ministry that I am organizing and which is supposed to take place in person at the end of August. There are so many uncertainties as it includes a group of people who would need to travel from a number of different countries. I am not sure how to manage all this!
Please pray for the 10 graduating students as they finish their final papers. Pray that what they have learned at seminary they may put into practice in whatever ministry God is calling them.
Thank God for the blessing of being able to have our final session in person. Some students will still not be able to attend, however, many will be able to be in the classroom for the first time this semester.
We also pray for admissions. International students have already been admitted. We pray for a smooth study visa process. And we pray for the others who may still be considering their call for ministry.

Pray that the reopening of society (including church activities) will continue and without backslides.
Pray for people coming again to church, to praise the Lord together.
Pray for Sunday school children and teachers, that the ending of the school year will be fine.
Pray for seminary students, that they also will finish their studies well. Pray for their spiritual growth in the summertime.
Pray for the end of the Seminary school year, students preparing to graduate, and all the work that involves. Pray that everything would be done well and with a real sense of God’s guidance for the future.
Pray for the Seminary team working on the accreditation report. The deadline is September 1 but as we all really need a break over the summer, pray that it would be as close to finished as possible before the summer holiday.
We have a serious septic tank problem at our retreat house. Pray that it would be fixed before the end of June, so that we can be in the house and welcome guests.
We ask you to pray for the summer activities in the children’s center. Although our financial situation is not very good, we are still going to camp with the children for three days, as children have been waiting for this for a whole year. We ask God to help keep everything in order during the camp. We ask God to protect children during summer and allow workers to rest and gain strength for the following year.
We pray for the children who are making their last efforts at school to complete this school year. Last month, 3 new children with very large school deficits came to our children’s center.
We ask God for wisdom on how to guide children in choosing Christian values. As our society is rapidly changing and adapts new values that contradict Christian values. This prevents children from accepting Biblical truths.
