July 2026 Prayer Requests
July 12, 2026
Below, find the prayer concerns and requests from leaders of the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary and the congregations in Estonia.
Dear friends,
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers for the Methodist church in Estonia!
On Sunday, I finished the last charge conference in the small town of Tapa. Since February, I have visited all 24 congregations, and I thank God for the faithful clergy and members who continue to serve the Lord in different parts of Estonia. Please pray for our congregations so that they continue to be a strong witness in local communities and grow both spiritually and in number.
Please pray for the upcoming Annual Conference on June 19-21. May this be a time of celebration, prayer, seeking the Lord’s will, and encouragement for all participants.
On a personal note, please pray for me as I will be ordained as a bishop in the closing service of the Annual Conference. Please pray for the Spirit of the Lord to fill me in a special way so that I may carry this responsibility with humility and in His power.
Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers!
In Christ,
Robert Tserenkov
Dear friends,
Summer is approaching quickly, and in just one month, our summer camps will begin. Preparations are continuing, and we are grateful for all the people who have already committed to serving. It is encouraging to see so many willing hearts giving their time, energy, and gifts to make these camps possible.
As we continue preparing, we are reminded that God is the one building His kingdom, and we are thankful for the opportunity to be part of what He is doing in the lives of young people.
This month, we would especially appreciate your prayers for our camps:
- For the ongoing preparations and planning in the weeks ahead
- For all the volunteers who are already serving, may God strengthen and encourage them
- For additional team members to join us, particularly for our worship teams, where we still have a significant need
- That God would already begin preparing the hearts of the young people who will attend
Thank you for continuing to pray for us and support the youth work. We are excited to see what God will do this summer and grateful that you are standing with us in prayer.
With gratitude and blessings,
Liidia Puju

Prayer Requests
- Please pray for the visit of internationally renowned Christian apologists Sam Raju (Founder and President of Engage International) and Dr. Paul Copan (theologian, philosopher, and bestselling author) on June 5–6. On Friday, June 5, Sam Raju and Dr. Copan will lead our Apologetics class and present an open lecture titled “Overcoming Objections to the Christian Faith.” On Saturday, June 6, they will participate in a public discussion and the launch of the Estonian translation of Dr. Copan’s bestselling book, Is God a Moral Monster? Making Sense of the Old Testament God.
- Please pray for our Open House Day on June 6, that it would be a meaningful opportunity for prospective students and visitors to learn more about the Seminary.
- Please pray for the 13 students preparing to defend their theses on June 9–10, asking for wisdom, peace, and successful completion of their studies.
- Please pray for the upcoming open course “Cultural Anthropology in Missions”, taking place June 3–6. Dr. Steven Ybarrola, Th.D., will introduce participants to cultural anthropology and its application in evangelism and mission.
- Please pray for the Board of Trustees meeting on June 17–18 and for our Graduation Service on June 17. Pray especially for safe travels for board members and guests arriving from abroad.
- Please pray for prospective students, as admissions for the 2026 academic year remain open.

Greetings from Estonia!
We are deeply grateful that you are part of our ministry and continue to uphold us in prayer. Thank you for faithfully standing with us and supporting the work God is doing here.
May has been a particularly blessed month. Although we currently have fewer volunteers serving in the Võru congregation, God has richly blessed us through the faithfulness and dedication of those who continue to serve.
Before the summer break, we gathered twice as a ministry team. During our first meeting, Colleen and Brent Weaver joined us as we discussed and prayed about our American friends’ upcoming visit. Later that week, our three congregations participated in a crisis preparedness training. The purpose was to raise awareness and help each congregation take practical steps to develop its own crisis response plan. We ended the week by celebrating the conclusion of another season of youth ministry with our youth leadership team.
My heart is filled with gratitude for the committed people God has placed around us and for His faithful grace throughout this season.
As summer begins, we invite you to pray with us. Please pray that our volunteers will find rest and renewal, and that our congregations will experience fresh strength, spiritual refreshment, and God’s continued provision.
We also ask for your prayers as we prepare for the arrival of our American friends. We are excited about their visit and are actively making preparations.
Please continue to pray for our youth and children’s camps, as well as for all the planning and preparation that goes into them. We would also appreciate prayer for the financial situation of the Võru Food Bank. At the same time, we are grateful that God continues to provide food for those in need, allowing us to serve our community in practical ways.
Thank you for your faithful prayers, encouragement, and partnership in ministry. Your support is a tremendous blessing to us.
With gratitude and blessings,
Ele

We thank God for the volunteers from Asbury Church – Teri, Adrian, Donna, and Jann – who helped at the children’s center during the week and the church cafeteria on Sunday. We thank them for the wonderful trip to Finland with 20 children from the children’s center. For many of the children, it was their first time abroad. It was a great experience for them to travel on a large ferry to another country and spend time there. We pray for Asbury Church volunteers safe journey home this weekend.
We thank God that most of the children finished their school year on a positive note. We continue to need prayer support for a 13-year-old boy who repeated a grade last year, but has not been attending school much this year either, has recently been caught stealing by the police, and the situation at home is very difficult. We pray that God will help this family.
The summer camp at the children’s center begins on June 29th. We pray for the group of volunteers from Calvary UMC who have faithfully organized this camp all these years. We pray for their safe journey to Estonia and that God will provide them with everything they need. We pray for the camp and for all the children who go there, that God may change their lives.
God bless you!
