Dear Friends of Estonia!
Thank you for your prayers for your Methodist brothers and sisters in Estonia! It was wonderful to see some of you at the Friends of Estonia virtual gathering a little over a week ago, and we are so excited that some of you are coming to Estonia this summer! We are looking forward to seeing you here!
Thank you for your prayers for the church conferences which are taking place all across Estonia. I still have ten congregations to visit, and I appreciate your prayers.
Please pray as we are looking for new pastors. We need about eight new pastors, and please pray that more people will accept the call for ministry.
Please pray as we are preparing for the Annual Conference for changes in appointments and the next steps for the Methodist church in Estonia.
We are grateful for your prayers and partnership. Thank you for your love for Estonia!
On April 28th and 29th, we had a seminar for youth leaders. I’m very thankful for these 16 young and very dedicated workers who participated. We learned how to build relationships and how to fix them; after that, we learned how to communicate in social media and in Christ himself.
I thank God that we were able to work all together with EMC Youth Commitee after a long time. This is a dream team and a special blessing from God. At the end of the week, we have spring hiking with youth all over Estonia. Let’s pray for the best weather and each other’s building conversations.
Let’s pray for different camps and preparation for them.
We had a special concert service of four congregations on Easter Sunday at Ruusmäe. God was able to touch the local community, musicians, and church members.
Let’s pray that God would raise up the workers and help develop strategic cooperation in South Estonia Parish
Let’s pray for burnt-out workers’ help, care, and progress. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart that God is our provider and that I have very special co-workers by my side who encourage and support me. I couldn’t do all of this without them.
First, praise God that the renovation of our teacher’s room is finished! Faculty and staff now have a place where they may relax and prepare their food as well as fellowship. (pictures below)
Please pray for the 6 students who are working on their diploma papers and are applying to graduate this year. It has been a blessing to have them in our classroom over the past 3+ years and we pray that they have the endurance to finish their final work so they may graduate and apply their learning in whatever capacity God has for them next!
Dear praying friends!
Thank you for your love and care!
April was a busy month. Twice we had Alpha course meetings, and the Lord did great work – several participants have been touched and experienced the changing power of the Holy Spirit, and one young man received Christ.
Youth meetings were very special. We had a youth meeting on Good Friday, and it was a very special time; the seven words of Christ on the cross were through the video stories and touched young people very much. Afterward, everyone could nail their sins to the big wooden cross.
Children’s ministry is growing, and on Easter Sunday, there was an egg hunt, and 8 children were participating (2 girls from a local children’s home). On Easter Sunday was special worship in Ruusmäe church, and six new local people participated.
We now have two worship groups (adults and youth – and about ten people participate in worship. also woodwind quartet was playing on Easter – so praise God) We are very thankful to the Lord that He is doing great work.
On April 26, one pastor from Nigeria was teaching about authority in prayer.
About prayers – our country and government need much prayer – it is very sad what is happening and all the costs and taxes are rising – people need help from the Lord.
