Below, find the prayer concerns and requests from leaders of the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary and the congregations in Estonia.
Dear friends,
Thank you for your faithful prayers for the Methodist Church in Estonia!
I ask your prayers for the upcoming Annual Conference on May 23-25. Please pray for the wisdom and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, as we make important decisions for the church.
Please pray as we plan and prepare for summer camps and other summer events. We hope and pray that various summer events will bless many children, young people, and adults.
Please pray for the health of a couple of our pastors, who have experienced extended health issues for the last several months. Please pray that the Lord would heal them and give them strength.
Thank you so much for your prayers!
In Christ,
Robert Tserenkov
Here are the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary’s thanksgivings and prayer requests for March 2025:
We are grateful to God:
- For the rector’s and rector’s assistant’s visit to Mt. Bethel Methodist Church (Atlanta, Georgia), Lenoir City Central UMC (Tennessee), and Asbury Theological Seminary (Kentucky) from April 2–12. It was a truly enriching trip, filled with meaningful connections and valuable insights into Asbury Theological Seminary’s operations.
- For the course “Learning about Isaiah, the Prince of the Prophets, and His Relevance to Today’s World” taught by one of the most renowned Old Testament scholars, Dr. John N. Oswalt, on May 2–3. The course deepened our understanding of the Book of Isaiah and its significance in today’s world.
- For the Open Course on the Old Testament Prophets taught by Dr. John N. Oswalt from May 7–9. It was a tremendous blessing to host such a distinguished teacher and to learn from his wisdom.
Please join us in prayer:
- For all those preparing to defend their diploma papers and graduate in June.
- For the Open Doors Day on Thursday, June 5.
- For the alumni gathering on Saturday, June 14—that it may be a time of joyful reunion, reflection, and renewed vision.

Greetings from Children’s Center Lighthouse
We thank God for volunteer Riley from Asbury Church, who spent a whole year in Estonia helping with the children’s activities at the children’s center. We pray for blessings on his trip home to America and God’s guidance in his future endeavors.
We are grateful to God for Seminary student Piibe, who has been interning at a children’s center for the past few months. Every Monday, she has taught Bible lessons, made crafts, and made something delicious for the children. Her internship ends this month. We pray that the seed she has sown in the children’s hearts may bear good fruit.
May is always a month of great effort for children to finish their school year. We pray that God will help them finish their classes and that our teachers can help the children through this process.
At the end of next week, volunteers Teri, Adrian, and Donna from Asbury Church will come to help at the children’s center. We pray for their safe trip and God’s protection and guidance during their stay in Estonia.
Veronika
