June 2026 Prayer Requests
June 11, 2026
Below, find the prayer concerns and requests from leaders of the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary and the congregations in Estonia.
Dear friends,
As summer is drawing closer, we are grateful for how God has been guiding us through this season. Preparations for our summer camps are now in full swing, and it has been encouraging to see how things are coming together step by step.
At the moment, we are working on two camps as well as the History Makers conference. We are thankful for the opportunity to be part of what God is doing through these events and for the team that is faithfully serving in the process.
We would love to ask for your prayers:
• For wisdom and clarity as we continue planning the camps and the conference
• For unity and strength within the team during this busy season
• That God would prepare the hearts of every young person who will attend
Thank you for standing with us in prayer and support. It truly means a lot to us.
With gratitude and blessings,
Liidia

Please Pray
- For the 13 students preparing their diploma papers and getting ready for their defence, as they plan to graduate

Dear friends,
Thank you for your faithful prayers for the Methodist Church in Estonia!
Please pray for the preparations for the Annual Conference, which will take place June 19-21, and which is the important decision-making body of the church. Please pray that we would feel the guidance of the Holy Spirit and that the conference would be a blessing and an inspiration to the clergy and lay leaders alike.
Please pray for the preparations for the various children’s and youth camps that begin at the end of May and run through July. Please pray for the leaders to have wisdom and guidance, and for all of the hundreds of kids and youth who will participate in those camps.
Please continue to pray for our clergy. We also need pastors in a couple of churches, and your prayers are very much appreciated so that we can see more people dedicate themselves to the pastoral ministry.
Thank you for your prayers, and may the Lord bless you!

Dear Friends,
I am sending you warm greetings from Estonia!
As we prepare to celebrate Mother’s Day this coming Sunday, I especially want to lift up all mothers in prayer.
Dear mothers, may God’s loving and caring hand rest upon your lives just as your hands and hearts have lovingly cared for your children, grandchildren, godchildren, and spiritual children through the years. May He bless you abundantly, strengthen you daily, and carry you gently in the palm of His hands.
This spring has been filled with many meaningful moments in our congregation. In April, we celebrated the anniversaries of two of our oldest congregation members – one turning 85 and another 75. We are so thankful for their lives. Please pray that God would continue to bless them with good health, joy, and loving relationships.
We have also had wonderful fellowship with our brothers and sisters at Kuressaare Methodist Church. I had the privilege of preaching there, and they have also visited us in Reeküla. Recently, our friend Marti and his son Karl visited our congregation and ministered through preaching and praise music, which was a great encouragement to us all.
Another special highlight was an ecumenical service we organized together with my good friend, Pastor Rando from Kuressaare Methodist Church. A guest preacher from Denmark joined us that evening, sharing God’s Word and praying for people. We were grateful to see the church filled with people and hearts open to God’s presence.
Please pray for all mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, and spiritual mothers in our churches and families.
I would also ask for your prayers for my family and me, as we are seeking God’s wisdom and His solutions for some important matters in our lives. Please continue standing with us in prayer, also for the health needs within our congregation, trusting God for healing and answers.
Thank you for your friendship, prayers, and faithful support. We are grateful to walk together with you in God’s kingdom.
With love
Lemme from Reeküla
I wish you a happy Easter!
- Pray for our confirmation group. They will finish soon. On Pentecost Day, some of them will join the congregation.
- Pray for all students, especially for those who will graduate.
- Pray for our pastors and their families.
- Pray for Sunday school last month before summer vacation.
Blessings,
Vilja Ventsel
In recent weeks, elementary school graduates in Estonia have had national exams. Thank God that our 2 children from the center, who have had learning difficulties, passed these exams with very good results. We thank God for our teachers in the center, who know how to help children with their studies.
We pray that all the children will finish their classes this school year. Our concern is still one 14-year-old boy from the children’s center, who has been visiting the children’s center very rarely lately and even less often at school, and he has already had dealings with the police. The situation in the family is also very complicated, with 4 children and the mother constantly changing partners.
This year marks 25 years since the Children’s Center began. We are very grateful for everything God has done over the years and has changed the lives of so many children. We thank God for all the people who have contributed to the work of the Children’s Center over the years.
We pray for the 4 volunteers from Asbury Church who will come to help at the children’s center at the end of May and for the trip to Finland with them and the children.
