December 2025 Prayer Requests
December 8, 2025
Below, find the prayer concerns and requests from leaders of the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary and the congregations in Estonia.
Dear friends,
Thank you so much for your prayers for the Methodist Church in Estonia!
We are thankful to the Lord for the successful Annual Conference we had on September 26-27, which finalized the church discipline for the EMC. It will guide the mission and the operation of the church for many years to come. Also, now that the structure of the church is in place, the Estonian Methodist Church can elect a bishop on March 14. Please pray for the preparation process and the election of the bishop, as this is such an important and historic moment for the Methodist Church in Estonia.
We are thankful to the Lord that last weekend we were able to host a wonderful European Gathering of the Methodist and Wesleyan churches in Tallinn. Many Methodist and Wesleyan denominations were represented from 17 countries, among them the UMC, GMC, Free Methodists, the Church of the Nazarene, and several Free Methodist denominations. We were able to learn more about what is happening in Europe and pray together for the spread of the Gospel and the Scriptural holiness throughout the land.
Let us continue to pray for the war to end in Ukraine and in other parts of the world. Let us pray for peace in people’s hearts in Estonia and the rest of Europe, as there is still much anxiety in these complicated times.
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers for the Lord’s work in this part of the world!
In Christ,
Robert Tserenkov

Dear Friends,
Dear Friends
I send you warm greetings and blessings from the Reeküla congregation. Thank you so much for partnering with us! You are a joy and a blessing!
September has been a busy month for us in Reeküla. We celebrated my and 2 other church people’s birthdays, had a Kohila´s Baptist Congregation´s friends visiting us on a weekend and staying with us on a Sunday Worship Service, and we visited with our congregation, our good friends – Leisi Baptist Church on Sunday and had a blessed Sunday Service with them also.
We also had an extra event in Saaremaa – every year we have a street picnic in Kuressaare, the capital of Saaremaa, at the beginning of September. This year, almost 6000 people participated in the picnic at 2 long tables throughout Kuressaare´s centre. We attended the picnic with our local friends who are not yet Christians.
My husband Joel and I were also invited to the Estonian Christian TV Station to lead the online evening program Prayer Studio, to talk about faith and persecution, and to pray for people’s needs. It was a privilege to minister to Estonian Christians like that.
Please pray with us that God would continue His good work in our friends’ hearts in Saaremaa so they might one day worship Christ with us in our congregation. Please pray also for your Sunday School and Youth Work that God would send us helpers to minister to them the best way possible, and that this season would be the season when all of our kids and youth grow closer to God. Please pray for our congregation´s people who are in real need of a healing miracle from God. And please pray for me also. I am still looking for a job that would be a good fit with my family and my work in Reeküla´s congregation.
May God keep you and bless you abundantly!
With love
Lemme from Reeküla
A Time of Change and New Beginnings
I have finished leading the nationwide youth ministry. I am very thankful to God for this fruitful season. From August, a new and strengthened team will continue the work, led by Naatan Hollman.
At the beginning of August, the Kant family moved from Võrumaa to Northern Estonia to live, study, and work. Let us carry them in prayer. May God provide, guide, and protect them.
In August, the EMK Viitka congregation celebrated its 25th anniversary. Thanks be to God for this small congregation on the border with Russia. Let us pray for God’s strength and the power of the Holy Spirit for this congregation. Pastor Enno needs health.
Pastor Andrus Kask is serving the Räpina and Kärsa congregations. They are also beginning Wednesday Bible studies. Let us pray for spiritual awakening in this area and that God would send helpers. Let us carry Andrus`s wife in our prayers as she is undergoing cancer treatment.
I continue mentoring and encouraging the volunteers and pastors of the Võru, Viitka, and Räpina congregations. With God’s help, I serve the Võru congregation and am very thankful for each member of the team.
Ain, a member of the Võru congregation, built a pavilion in the church yard at his own expense, so that we could enjoy fellowship together and hold work meetings outdoors. We bless Ain’s work and service.
Our church celebrated its 31st anniversary on October 5th. Võru congregation thanks God for warm church rooms, heartful workers, a growing church family, and for the freedom to proclaim the gospel in our community and country.
There is much harvest, but few workers — let’s pray together that God will send workers. We need wisdom from God to distinguish what is important from all the different challenges, and to use our time wisely so that our common goal — to save the lost and reach out to them — becomes more important than anything else.
Let us pray for the beginning of the new season!
In God’s love,
Ele
Here are the Children Center Lighthouse prayer needs:
We give thanks for four new children who joined the children’s center in September. Please pray that God would give us wisdom to help them in the best possible way.
We kindly ask that you continue to keep Riine in your prayers. She once volunteered at the children’s center. She is expecting a baby, but a month ago, she suffered paralysis and was placed in an induced coma. Thank God, by now she is already able to respond with her head, but she still cannot breathe on her own or move her hands and feet. The doctors do not yet have a clear diagnosis, as some test results are still pending.
Please pray for a 9-year-old boy who lives with his father. The father struggles with alcoholism, and in the past week, he has started drinking again. This affects the boy very deeply—he is having difficulties at school and does not want to go home. We pray that the father may come to know Jesus, who sets us free from sin and addictions.
Please pray for a 14-year-old boy who had to repeat his grade. Since the beginning of autumn, he has been struggling with school attendance and learning again.
During the autumn break, October 21-23, there will be a city camp at the children’s center
with the children, team, and volunteers of the “Hope” congregation. Please pray for God’s blessing on the camp!
We are very thankful that you are keeping us in your prayers!
Gratefully,
Veronika Fjodorova
