Gratefulness to God
- For my safe trip to Sweden on August 14-17th to the World Methodist Conference in Gothenburg;
- on Monday, August 26th, the 80-page self-assessment document with an additional amount of appendixes was presented to the Estonian Quality Agency for Education (HAKA) (The leading competence center in Estonia in the field of external quality assessment of educational institutions). Thanks be to God for each one who worked diligently for this document;
- For the start of the Fall semester on August 28th, wherein the worship service, we prayed the Lord`s blessings over our new rector, Dr. Laur Lilleoja;
- For the first session, August 28-31 in Camp Gideon with the guest lecturer Dr. Philip R. Meadows from Asbury Theological Seminary, which has been such a good time for students and staff;
- For the new little over 20 students who have applied to study in our Seminary and have started their studies;
Please pray:
- For the Estonian Quality Agency for Education (HAKA) accreditation team, God may bless and guide them while they read the presented self-assessment document and prepare for the site visit on November 12th-13th;
- For new rector Laur Lilleoja, that his new office will be blessed and guided by God and he will have a smooth transition into his new job; pray also for Laur`s family;
- The new students will find the necessary resources to cover the tuition fee, and God will give them the strength not to quit;
- For our staff team, we may be an excellent example for the students while preparing them for ministry;
- We pray that we may find and obtain all the necessary support to cover our financial needs for 2024 and the study years 2024-2025.
Yours in Christ,

Pastor, Reeküla Church
Hello dear friends,
I pray your Summer has gone well and you are ready to begin this new active season in Church! 🙂
Greetings to you from the Reeküla congregation!
After a busy July with preparations and celebrating our church´s anniversary, we took time off to rest in August. We met with our congregation on Sundays and had fellowship groups during the week, and we didn’t do much more. Now, we are getting back on track and preparing for this new season: preparations for Sunday School and Youth events and other plans.
Please pray that God will give us His vision and wisdom for this new season, that we can continue to serve and minister to people in the best way possible, and that we can reach out to many. We pray the same for you.
With love and blessings,
Lemme from Reeküla

Children’s Lighthouse Director
Greetings from Children Center Lighthouse!
Thank God for a beautiful summer! The children happily returned to the children’s center, and they said they were bored without the children’s center while the staff had a month of summer vacation. Both children and staff had a good rest and are ready to start the new season. We ask God to continue this enthusiasm for the whole year.
The primary classes in Russian-speaking schools will switch to Estonian-language learning in Estonia. This is a very good change, but it also means changing the work organization in the children’s center and extra work for teachers.
One girl, Alina, who attended the children’s center years ago, has started attending church and helping in the children’s Sunday school. This year, she wants to come to the children’s center to teach Bible lessons to children. We thank God for her and pray that God will equip her with everything she needs for this ministry!
God Bless You!

Tree of Life Church – Võru
Dear praying friends!
We are thankful for God’s beautiful month of August! The building process started in Võru, and a lot of work has already been done. Praise God for Ain, who is leading the building team! Look for progress and financial needs at https://coda.io/@ove-palo/emkvoru/. You can see the progress, but also pray for the next step!!!
We are thankful for the Summer Conference, which took place from August 8 to 11 in Camp Gideon, and for the wonderful Brazilian couple who came to Estonia for a month to seek opportunities to minister.
Praise God also for Juhhei singing camp (7 children from Võru participated, and they had the opportunity to sing and witness in elderly people’s homes and also in Võru park)
Võru night run – we were playing worship music and shared water for runners (about 250 runners passed the church)
Inspiring retreat for volunteers with Joel Reinaru and first youth night for the season.
Prayers:
- New season – to discern God´s will for the three churches
- Starting again children ministry – more children from children’s home want to come – to have transportation to come
- Starting the new youth ministry season – to have a strong group of volunteers
- New congregation members may become strong in faith (about 20 new people have joined the church in the last two years). Starting small groups for the new year
- Võru church 30th-anniversary celebration – to have an evangelical influence on the town
- Pastoral leadership (Ele, Enno, Kaupo, and their families)
- Võru foodbank, its volunteers, and reaching out
– Thea and Kaupo
